DESCRIPTION

ABN Technologies is now collecting resumes for Project Managers to be utilized as needs arise for our government client.

These positions are for Level 1 and Level 2 Project Managers for our Puget Sound client. Offices are located in Downtown Seattle. All positions are temporary-from a one day assignment to longer.

Extended employment with ABN Technologies or this client will be determined based on performance and positions available.

DUTIES

Expectations for all Personnel:
  • Technical expertise and ability to use knowledge base effectively; strong skills
knowledge, and understanding of the area of responsibility assigned.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
  • Ability to work under steady pressure with frequent interruptions and a high degree of public contact by phone or in person.
  • Ability to plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other departments, Agency officials, and outside agencies.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Ability to provide quality services, take initiative and be flexible.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications
What you'll be doing ...
Our employees will use subject-matter knowledge and judgment to provide a hands-on, front-line service to staff. Providing outstanding customer service is expected. Responsibilities include providing support on projects of diverse scope and moderate to intermediate complexity.

Level 1 Employees will provide entry or mid-level entry support for project managers and project control staff.

Level 2 Employees will provide strong technical support and program solving to others. This is considered a professional position and involves highly technical or specialized work assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Level 1 Project Manager Employee will have at least 3 years of PM experience, while the Level 2 Employee will have 5 years in some or all of these areas: Developing Budgets, Coaching, Supervision, Staffing, Project Management, Management Proficiency, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Self-Development, Planning, Performance Management, Technical Life Cycle Management.

A Bachelor's Degree, at a minimum will be required.

  • Service Minded. You deliver customer support like you expect to receive it; with excellence.
  • Availability. You have the ability to work some or all weekdays from 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • Clean Background. ABN Technologies performs reference checks and a background check on all employees, so you will need to be prepared for that.
Working Conditions:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment, with some walking, standing, and bending; and the occasional lifting & carrying of small packages.
