Under minimum supervision, provides day-to-day “hands-on” direction for Texas Operations. Works closely with Vendors and Customers to ensure superior, ongoing relationships. Handles all maintenance and service issues regarding company fleet. Handles all maintenance and service issues regarding company fleet. Overall responsibility for safety, DOT compliance, hiring, training, coaching and separation of drivers and mechanics.

Management Responsibilities:
Overall management, professional development, training of 70+ drivers and maintenance staff
• Interview and make hiring decisions on potential candidates
• Work closely with organization’s Leadership team
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides “hands-on” practical day-to-day direction to drivers
• Insures Safety and DOT Compliance standards are enforced
• Works closely with Vendors to ensure that all service and maintenance standards are met
• Works closely with internal customers and driver staff in handling all day to day issues that arise and ensuring “world class” customer service standards are met and exceeded
• Assists with fleet of company trucks to maximize logistic efficiencies
• Maintains (and repairs when necessary) all on-site equipment and surrounding areas.
• Maintains the security of the site at all times.
• Manages team of maintenance personnel to ensure all safety standards and repair needs are met for the entire fleet
• Responsible for upholding company brand standards for all drivers, trucks and site
• Responsible for implementing and executing all operational programs
• Performs regular daily dispatch function for Victoria site
• Audits all operational paperwork for accuracy, including but not limited to delivery records and driver payroll
• Enforces pre and post trip standards for all drivers and conducts routine field safety audits
• Prepare for and facilitate Monthly Safety Meetings
• Involved in the hiring, training, coaching and discipline of drivers
• Must be willing to be on call 24/7, 365 days of the year for emergency related issues
Required Experience:

Required Education & Certification:
Must have High School Diploma or general equivalency degree.
