Position Summary:
Responsible for sales promotion and service of all AngioDynamics products within geographic boundaries of assigned territory. Develops and maintains key physician and hospital contacts to achieve corporate objectives.

Position Responsibility:
It is the primary responsibility of the AngioDynamics sales rep. to achieve the individual sales goals assigned to them by their Regional Business Manager.

Sales Communication – through written and verbal communication keep AngioDynamics management and sales personnel aware of any selling tips, success stories and suggestions that may help the sales organization.

Competitive Information – Provides on-going information to sales management and marketing on all competitive activities and product introductions or evaluations through the respective geographic boundaries.

New Product Ideas – Stays constantly aware of new product ideas and/or improvements and communicates these ideas to sales and marketing management. Helps introduce new product prototypes to various centers of influence and follows up these introductions when asked by the Mentor Marketing Department.

Call Report – Reports all weekly sales activities via a call report to Regional Business Manager, and home office. Files a monthly report to the home office the first week following the previous month.

Submits a weekly expense report when travel and expenses are necessary. Monthly car allowances will be paid to each sales representative on a monthly basis. Any regional or national convention expenses will be reimbursed by the company in addition to necessary travel expenses. Assumes responsibility for keeping these expenses within the parameters given.

Knowledge and Experience – A Territory Manager is expected to know all information pertinent to the successful management of his/her territory. This knowledge consists of knowing:

Who the key decision makers are in each department.

What products they use.

AngioDynamics and its competitors’ products.

In what particular manner are the products used.

The department hierarchy – who sees who and when; who is instrumental in evaluations; who does the ordering and who has the authority to make changes.

The basic program at the hospital – teaching accounts with fellows, residents, and students.

Required Skills

Must be self-motivated.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Required Experience

Bachelor degree required.

2 years sales experience.

Proven track record of sales success.
