Provides assesment and therapy to children who have experienced abuse and other traumas, including domestic violence. Priority will be given to licensed applicants who have experience working specifically with sexually abused children and their families, and are experienced in the provision of Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy or other trauma-focused evidence-based treatment.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, be licensed or license-eligible, and have a minimum of 1 year experience serving abused, traumatized, or at-risk children and families. Skills and Knowledge Required:
The ideal candidate has strong written and oral communication skills, works effectively in a team environment, has knowledge of the child welfare and legal systems, is skilled at developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with others (clients, caregivers, co-workers, professionals from other agencies and organizations), and is committed to principles of cultural competency.
