Serves as a Highway Equipment Operator for Agribusiness operations at Bland Correctional Center, ensuring products produced are distributed. Responsible for the timely delivery of milk, juice, meat, produce, and other products produces by agribusiness to facilities throughout the state. Ensures products are packaged, loaded and unloaded according to established policies and procedures. Position trains and supervises offenders in the Re-entry CDL drivers program daily.
High school graduate or equivalent. Valid Commercial Driver's License. Working knowledge of highway and equipment operation safety rules. Demonstrated ability to interpret and follow oral and written rules and regulations. Demonstrated ability to organize and complete work assignments with minimal guidance. Ability to understand and apply operating procedures; to compose written responses to inquiries. Ability to read and follow a map. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Prefer experience as a tractor trailer driver. Prefer valid Class "A" CDL Certification.
