The objective of the Facilities Management Department shall be to provide a campus environment that is conducive to working and learning through the systematic maintenance, repair, renovation and construction of campus building, facilities and infrastructure. To repair all plumbing problems on campus as needed.
Performs the following: unstopping of all plumbing fixtures within 48 hours as instructed and perform maintenance on hot water heaters yearly, removal and reinstall water heaters and circulator pumps. Receives work orders and schedules to be performed on a daily basis. Responds to emergency (including after hour) plumbing calls as instructed.
Assist in checking buildings for plumbing problems on a daily basis. Ensures that repairs are completed within 48 hours or less. Interprets blueprints and layouts of work to be completed, formulates material list cost per daily job task.
Perform other duties within the purview of the Facilities Management operations as assigned.
High school diploma or GED, 4-6 year's experience and journeyman's license.
A criminal background check is required.
