DUTIES

MTC International Development is seeking a Training/Human Resources Specialist who has experience working in an international setting for an upcoming 6-month evaluation project in Ghana. The Training/Human Resources Specialist will be working with a team on developing courses for managers of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions and systems. Human capital development experience to include: development of management and leadership courses for middle level managers in training organizations or school-based institutional management. Such training may include: strategic planning, standards setting, quality assurance and accountability systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in human resource development, education, training management, or other relevant disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of practical experience designing and delivering training programs, particularly with TVET related management training programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must submit a writing sample.
  • Experience with donor-funded programs preferred; Ghana or regional training experience preferred.
  • Ghanaian nationals preferred.
