Purpose
This position will be responsible for, in cooperation with Training Manager, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Training classes in the areas of PeopleSoft Financial Supply Management and Human Capital Management.
Essential Functions
Develops, conducts, evaluates, and expands training classes for faculty, staff, and, on occasion, students. Confers with department heads and other personnel to determine training needs, plans training classes and prepares new material or adopts existing material as necessary. Arranges class schedules and locations. Provides end user support for use of applications.
Licenses:
Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving
Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License
within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
Marginal/Incidental functions
Other functions as assigned.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree with major course work in business administration, education, personnel management, or other related fields. Three years of experience in the field of assignment. Must have knowledge of audio-visual equipment, standard office equipment and/or personal computer. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Must have knowledge of audio-visual equipment, standard office equipment and/or personal computer. Experience and knowledge in PeopleSoft FMS and HCM and extensive knowledge using the User Productivity Kit. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Specific job requirements or physical location of positions allocated to this classification render the position security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215 Texas Education Code.
