The Transfer Operator functions under the supervision of the
LIFESTAR Director. The Transfer Operator will facilitate a “one
call” transfer line that will coordinate arrangements to
support the transfer of patients from regional hospitals to NWTHS in
accordance with EMTALA regulations. The System Status Controller is
responsible for collection, dissemination, and documentation of air
medical scenes and interfacility transfer requests. Maintains an
organizational culture of service excellence and the practice of
service excellence standards to all customer groups.
