Advanced Medical is currently seeking the ideal candidate for a physical therapy assistant to work in a Cath Lab setting within the greater Salem, VA area. The ideal candidate for the PTA job will have experience working in either an Cath Lab or hospital setting.
The primary responsibilities for the physical therapy assistant selected for this extraordinary opportunity will be to provide physical therapy to patients with physical disabilities under the direct supervision of a physical therapist. The ideal candidate for this PTA job will give day to day therapeutic intervention in a rehabilitation environment in accordance with the physical therapist, physicians and other health care professionals. The ability to work independently under the guidelines set for by the physical therapist, as well as becoming an active team member in a comprehensive rehabilitation program is mandatory for any applicant. The PTA job requires any applicant to have a working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance companies as well as the ability to complete computerized documentation.
