Summary: Perform radiological duties for diagnostic purposes as directed by physician and in compliance with company protocols, practices, policies and procedures and with respective state laws and regulations governing such activities. Perform selected nursing and administrative/clerical duties that assist in the delivery of occupational healthcare. The duties are delegated with respect to each individual's degree of training, and in accordance with, respective state laws and regulations governing such activities.

Principle Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established company procedures and protocols.
Protect patients, yourself and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
Produce quality diagnostic radiographs and maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.
Prepares reports and maintains records of services rendered.
Maintains radiological film files and storage, pulls X-Rays as required for referrals and/or copying.
Keeps logs for X-Rays sent out for referrals.
Make minor adjustments to equipment.
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Assist with various aspects of diagnostic testing including obtaining and/or preparing specimens, labeling/recording, and communicating results.
Provide phone support.
Perform data entry, filling and shared housekeeping duties as needed/required.
Communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
Respect patients' rights to privacy and confidentiality.

Current certification and/or licensure (temporary license if applicable)
Must be able to verify license on the Texas Department of State Health Services website.
Non Certified Technicians: Must be registered with the Texas Medical Board.
Proficient computer skills.
Communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
Must be able to travel from San Antonio to Austin and from clinic to clinic
