Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM) is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to perform Treasury functions within the Operations Team. The prospective individual should have a broad understanding of finance, capital markets and strong analytical skills to apply within an asset management setting and dynamic environment. The candidate will have exposure and liaise with all functional teams across BAAM, including senior management, portfolio managers, investment professionals and investor services.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

-Record, monitor, perform P/L reporting and position reconciliation of trading activity for multi-strategy and core investment vehicles. Products include FX, equity, fixed income, swap and futures products

-Perform cash forecasting and liquidity analyses of investment vehicles, including asset - liability mismatch

-Process and monitor borrowing activity associated with financing lines of credit

-Assist with daily cash management, processing, reconciliation and reporting

-Assist with the development of system and process enhancements and completing special project initiatives

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting preferred

Experience: 2 – 4 year finance professional with prior relevant experience in banking operations, securities settlement, securities P/L analysis and reporting and other middle office functions.
