This individual is a key member of the plant maintenance team and will:
Troubleshoot Electrical and Mechanical issues with production equipment to determine root cause of operating problems.
Perform mechanical repair work.
Inspect equipment for operating conditions at scheduled intervals.
Perform preventable maintenance and make other necessary adjustments and repairs.
Maintain required records.
Perform general housekeeping/clean up in assigned work area.
Perform standard to advance repairs and troubleshoot equipment (i.e., takes charge, overhauls and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems, diesel and gas engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, and all general repairs). Qualifications
Requires strong electrical knowledge in shop mechanics, mechanical operation of equipment and the ability to troubleshoot electrical / mechanical issues. (Remote cranes, heavy hydraulics, heat treat ovens, pneumatics, etc…)
3+ years’ experience in a heavy manufacturing environment working in a maintenance role.
Experience with 480V+ electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
Ability to read and understand technical information.
Experience repairing high voltage equipment - 480V experience highly preferred but not required for all positions.
