As part of the academic support structure at Lakeside School, an independent coeducational day school located in North Seattle, we often refer students to tutors and are seeking skilled professional Tutors in a variety of subject areas. Requirements and Qualifications
Successful candidates will:
- Have demonstrated content competence;
- Have educational and/or tutoring experience with middle and/or upper school students;
- Be willing and available to tutor on the appropriate Lakeside campus (Middle School and/or Upper School) during the school day;
- Be required to authorize a criminal background check which results in a favorable report.
Lakeside School was founded in 1919, and currently enrolls 793 students in grades 5 through 12 from diverse ethnic, racial, religious, and economic backgrounds.

Lakeside is continually looking for qualified professional tutors interested in being considered for inclusion in our Referral Database. The Referral Database is updated on an as-needed basis, thus this posting will remain open indefinitely. Because of the nature of tutoring assignments, we will contact candidates when a potential tutoring need is identified.
