Job Description: UI Developer

Jones eGlobal Library ®, Inc. is a turnkey solution for hosting the online libraries of educational institutions. As the library's UI Developer, you will work closely with the product development team to convert designs into functional products. These products include web sites, mobile apps, browser extensions, and embeddable widgets.

An ideal candidate has most of the following qualifications:
  • A strong desire to work with a talented team to build elegant, modern web apps.
  • A strong understanding of solutions for cross-browser issues (js, css, html).
  • Proficiency with a JavaScript library or framework such as jQuery, Backbone, Angular, Knockout, etc.
  • Familiarity with templating solutions like Handlebars, Mustache, etc.
  • Interest in MV* application architecture with two-way data binding on the UI; JavaScript testing frameworks (QUnit, Jasmine, etc.); Twitter Bootstrap; LESS/Sass; version control (Git, etc.).
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field. 2-3 years of experience.
