PROJECT DESCRIPTION :
In 2009, Mercy Corps opened the Action Center, the agency’s public space devoted to global literacy. Since opening, the Mercy Corps Action Center has reached almost 59,000 visitors, including nearly 18,000 middle and high school students. Teachers bring their classes to the Action Center for either one-time workshops, or for repeated visits that offer a richer and more in-depth learning experience.
