To maintain an efficient, safe and pleasant work environment. To assist the Director, Medical Director and Physicist in directing all aspects of care provided by the Medical Imaging Department, including but not limited to; procedures, treatments, quality improvement, quality control and other related duties. Further more, the Technologist produces two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by Physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs by performing the following duties.
License / Certifications / Requirements
Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (A.R.D.M.S.) with Abdomen (AB) registry required.
Current BLS required.
Graduate of an accredited ARRT program or Ultrasound Program.
Minimum two (2) years working in a hospital imaging department with one (1) year experience in Ultrasound is preferred.
