Claim” your role.

Our Underwriting Assistant is a person who can support the Workers' Compensation team in the daily business operations as well as maintain and build strong agent, broker and client relationships. You are organized, detail oriented, you can resolve conflicts fairly and equitably and you have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

--Accurately enter policy information on the computer system and provide clerical support to the underwriting staff.
-- Directs account management activities.
-- Maintain positive and professional written and verbal communications with all agents, brokers, clients and ICW team members.
-- Serves as the first point of contact for customer inquiries during the account life cycle.
-- Ensures accuracy and organization of files.
-- Handles correspondence for additional account information.
-- Gathers information for new business and renewal set up.

Requirements include:
-- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
-- 2 years experience in the insurance industry, Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
-- Exceptional customer service skills
-- Strong attention to detail and organization
-- Adaptable to ever changing work
