The Unit Clerk/Cert Nursing Asst - Behavioral Health is responsible for providing age and developmentally appropriate activities and will assist with establishing behavioral treatment goals under the clinical oversight of the Pavilion Activity Therapist in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Northwest Texas Hospital-Pavilion.

Requirements

Education: Minimum of HS diploma and 2yrs. Experience facilitating groups with variety of developmental ages (Child, adolescent, adult and geriatric).

Experience: Demonstrated experience facilitating activities of a therapeutic nature with a variety of developmental ages (Child, adolescent, adult and geriatric) Two years experience in Activity Therapy field working with a mental health population, preferred. Prefer knowledge of group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management.

Licensure/Certification: Prefer current, certification or licensure in accordance with state and /or national board standards of specific field of allied health (i.e., recreational) but not necessary.
