Responsible for collecting and processing Graduate School fees. Verify and reconcile all credit card transactions. Correspond with applicants, students, faculty and staff regarding fee statuses. Prepare and process Interdepartmental Charges and Credits (IDCC’s) and Special Request for Checks (SRFC’s). Assist Graduate Enrollment Coordinators in all matters pertaining to student academic records. Verify and update transcript notations, enter test scores and other application data. Record and compose minutes at various meetings. Represent the Graduate School at commencement ceremonies. Assist with answering the telephone and greeting visitors. Typically requires a High School diploma plus one year of work related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires additional specialized training beyond the high school level or completion of formal high school vocational program or equivalent, plus one year of work-related experience. Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of ISIS, IBIS, Microsoft Word, Access and Excel preferred. Candidate must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and a team player. Requires excellent judgment in problem solving. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
