AboutWeb is currently seeking Unix Engineers in varying levels of experience to form a team for security integration and deployment of secure solutions for Unix, Linux, and Solaris government client environments. The Unix Engineer will travel to different client system locations and work closely with Network and Systems Administrators to deploy new TCS solutions and full lifecycle implementations.

Those interested in traveling CONUS/OCONUS will receive travel bonuses quarterly for assignments.

Clearance: TS/SCI (Active or has been non-active for no more than 6 months)

Skill Requirements:
  • Must have at least 4 years' experience with Unix, Solaris, or Linux networking/administration skills with an emphasis in security.
  • Must have two years of C, C++, or Java programming languages.
  • Experience working closely with customers to understand their hardware and softwware environment, requirements, and infrastructure.
  • Experience with the following tools:
> Windows Server

> Citrix or VMware (Virtualization experience)

> Active Directory

Education Requrirements:
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but equal years of experience is also suitable.
