We are building an in-house team of user experience researchers who will work in close partnership with product managers, designers, and engineers to create products that our users love. Our goal is for Ask product teams to have weekly access to direct consumer interactions and to use this feedback to shape products and services that deliver real value to our users.
We are creating a dynamic team that has fun working with our product groups, user design teams, marketing teams and bring that excitement to the people we interview and survey. We’re a new team with a lot of new initiatives some come prepared to work hard and have fun!
The User Research Coordinator has a unique opportunity to shape the future of consumer-focused product development at Ask.com. As the User Research Coordinator you will manage the screening, recruitment and scheduling of research participants and ensure that logistics run smoothly before, during and after feedback sessions. The ideal candidate will be an organizational whiz who enjoys working in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
You need the ability to handle high-volume scheduling requests from researchers and be highly motivated and energetic with an ability to prioritize demands. The ability to multi-task and high attention to detail required and most importantly – Have a sense of humor!
Conduct phone and/or email screens of suitable participants.
Plan and communicate interview details to research participants, ensuring that testers have all of the information necessary (detailed directions, information about the logistics of the feedback sessions, etc.). Confirm attendance and communicate schedules to internal clients.
Act as first and primary point of contact on day-of-interview for research participants and interviewers, professionally handing all scheduling changes and any other glitches that occur.
Assist with ordering snacks and refreshments for scheduled sessions, parking validations, and participant incentives.
Update and maintain research participant databases, ensuring that a wide variety of high-quality participants are considered.
Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available for user feedback sessions as requested by researchers and other internal clients.
1-2 years of experience scheduling appointments and/or screening potential participants, ideally for a marketing research agency or personnel recruiting function
Professional demeanor with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong MS Office skills with a focus on Microsoft Outlook 2007
Exposure to or interest in marketing research or user testing a plus
