This appointment begins in August 2012.
Responsibilities: Teach a variety of courses in Accounting and other courses in Business Administration. Other responsibilities include academic advising, curriculum development, grant
writing, campus and community service, and research. Faculty members may perform other duties as required in support of organizational goals.
Qualifications: Eighteen graduate hours of Accounting in an AACSB
accredited institution. An earned Ph.D./ D.B.A. with a concentration in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution or ABDs with a clear plan for completion is preferred. Preference will also be given to candidates with at least one recent publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Other desired qualifications include: (1) prior university/college teaching experience; (2)business/industry work experience; (3) research and grant-writing experience; and (4) experience with technology- enhanced curriculum delivery. The equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered.
