Role / Team Summary

This position is responsible for non-financial reporting and analysis for the COO function. This position will face off directly with management team members across Americas Finance, Operations, and Technology, and will work closely with global CAO and Business Management colleagues.

Responsabilities

This position is responsible for directing the activities of the Business Mgt Reporting team involved in the development and preparation of monthly COO reporting for M&IB Logistics, Finance and Change. Responsibilities include:

Non-financial and transformation reporting, e.g.:
§

Activity analyses

§

Organizational Spans and Layers

§

Streamlining Reporting

§

Contractor/Investment Reporting

·

Oversee compliance tracking, e.g., ePM, GPL’s, annual certifications, etc.

·

Coordinate and oversee Record Retention, Floor Plan and Business Continuity activities across COO functions.

·

Development and production of monthly consolidated dashboard reporting for COO function

·

Liaise with local Logistics teams and IB CLO team for monthly IB Logistics reporting, addressing governance, strategy and MI.

·

Production of monthly reporting on People metrics across COO function, including Learning & Development, Reward and Recognition, Culture and Engagement, and Leadership and Talent.

·

Define and implement consistent and accurate COO hierarchy for use across Peoplesoft and ECD

·

Ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis.

·

Define and implement best practices for business management, with ability to escalate issues appropriately.

·

Manage staff responsible for consolidated COO reporting including leading and motivating a team while supporting long term development.

·

Supervision of staff includes daily review of work product, ongoing feedback on performance, identification of training and development needs and monitoring progress against performance goals.

Lead and direct process improvements, ensuring business as usual and development activities remain focused on operating model.

·

Maintain awareness of changes within the business ensuring that any impacts to outputs are sufficiently assessed and appropriate changes are made within required timescales.

Minimum Requirements

·

BS/BA required; advanced degree preferred

·

10 - 15 years experience

·

Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills; knowledge of Oracle/Hyperion and multi-dimensional databases.

Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities

·

Well organized and adept at time management

·

Well rounded knowledge of products and terminology

·

Broad knowledge of finance and ability to look at the big picture to develop longer term strategy as required

·

Detailed understanding of systems, data and business processes

·

Ability to strategize and influence key stakeholders and sponsors

·

Ability to build consensus, develop and present business management initiatives

·

Exceptional communicator and ability to engage and motivate others

·

Strong influencing and negotiation skills

·

Exceptional people management / leadership skills with experience coaching staff
