We are seeking applicants who have a comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate finance, from the capital markets (CMBS), insurance company and/or banking industry. Professional should have a minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate loan underwriting and/or valuation experience. Our business spans North America, Caribbean and Europe. We are seeking professionals with broad property and advisory experience to meet the diverse requirements of blue-chip Wall Street Investment Banks, Large Commercial & Regional Banks, and Private Equity Firms.
This position is focused on providing clients independent third-party credit valuations on CRE, A&D, C&I and Residential loans; underwriting balance sheet and capital market loans; real estate consulting. Our advice is relied on by lenders looking to fund new loans or modify existing ones, investors/sellers requiring due diligence on loan portfolios for purchase or sale, and/or by investors considering recapitalization and/or acquisition of financial institutions. Occasional travel is required.
Property specialization is considered a positive, as well as ability to manage others. We have specialized practice groups for Retail, Multifamily and Hospitality and offer applicants a career path to management. Educational requirements consistent of a minimum 4 year degree in real estate, business or economics, knowledge of software applications such as Argus, MS Office with strong Excel modeling skills, and industry recognized data sources.
