Directs, administers and manages the cardiovascular service line program for the HCA Central VA market; driving profitable service line growth and improving program operations, quality and satisfaction. Services in a leadership role in a matrix organization and works cooperatively with all levels of leadership to accomplish team, facility and health system goals. Establishes overall cardiovascular strategy with CEOs across the enterprise. Collaborates with marketing and sales executives to promote the service to physicians and consumers. Ensures service line quality (e.g., clinical outcomes, credentialing/privileging, processes, services, satisfaction) align to division, market and national quality standards and best demonstrated practices. Facilitates cross facility planning, program development and communication. Produces the written annual market cardiovascular strategic business plan with goal setting and communicates plan to facility stakeholders. Submits service line business plan updates to facilities and division on a quarterly basis. Monitors service line specific performance metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.

College graduate with a minimum 3-7 years experience in health care operations (Associate Administrator or director level) with an emphasis on cardiovascular services. Must have experience in strategic planning and business development and operations; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; and demonstrated success in team facilitation, project management and physician relations. Some travel required, primarily within central Virginia.
