Qualifications: 10+ years experience at senior levels of cable television.
Expert knowledge of television branding with proven creative and innovative delivery.
Must be an innovative, inspirational and organized leader with the ability to produce high quality creative work
Solid communication, negotiation, operations and financial acumen
Must develop strategies and transform concepts into reality.
Must take initiative and be self-motivated, flexible, able to juggle multiple projects and tasks successfully and be able to operate within budgetary and schedule constraints.
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills. Superb skills at leading and managing creative executives.
Proven aptitude in all aspects of on air promotion including writing, editing and directing.

Duties: The VP of Creative Services is responsible for developing and leading our on-air brand promotion strategy, driving tune-in and generating both network ratings and advertising revenue. Incumbent will work closely with the SVP, Creative Services to shape the philosophy and look of the network as we speak to our consumers, the trade and internal constituents.
Incumbent must envision, champion and oversee the development and execution of innovative and creative work to convey truTV s brand and programming messaging across all platforms. The VP will oversee the creative briefs for all projects and communicate creative and delivery expectations to scheduling, operations, production management and external vendors. The VP must ensure consistent brand identity across all projects and that all creative material/content is compelling, on brand and on strategy. The VP is also responsible to develop break-through creative that will drive awareness, rating and image. The VP will provide critical creative direction on network upfront strategy and production.
The VP must identify long term planning strategies, set priorities, and coordinate all available resources. This includes leading a department of seven (Creative Director and Writer/Producers) and will identify, evaluate and select third party resources including agencies, production companies, directors, producers, designers, etc. engaged for concept development and production.
Incumbent will liaise across all truTV departments including brand strategy, programming and PR to provide insight and guidance on opportunities to ensure our series, pilots and specials are being marketed and promoted to the fullest extent for broadcast success.
The VP will have to establish and preserve excellent, collaborative relationships across Turner. This includes growing and maintaining cross-functional sister network relationships. The expectation is to participate in leadership team meetings and provide insight and guidance on current programming and ensure our programming being marketed and promoted successfully.
