Pri-Med’s dominance in providing quality medical education nationwide to over 240k clinicians, through both live and online channels and educating 40k clinicians annually through over 50 live events, provides a unique engine to rapidly drive the physician acquisition for Pri-Med’s EHR business. With the help of the data analytics and marketing divisions, Pri-Med will use its live local meetings as an “EHR storefront” to engage prospects in product demonstrations and education to introduce them to this next-generation platform strategically located to provide assistance at the point of patient care.

The VP, EHR Sales is responsible for selling the company’s suite of Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) software products and services to a wide range of health care practices. In addition to nurturing qualified clinician leads generated through the live Pri-Med storefronts, the role must also establish and nurture relationships with community hospitals that influence and/or specify the purchase of EHR systems by individual practices nationwide.

The VP, EHR Sales will also need to work with Independent Practice Associations (IPAs), Physician-Owned Hospitals, Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), regional Health Systems, Laboratories, and other high-level healthcare organizations that influence and drive EHR sales to end users, who include physicians (MDs and DOs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and other health care providers. In addition, the ideal candidate will need to continually monitor resellers to ensure they are meeting expectations and providing the proper geographic coverage.

Qualified candidates will have a BA or BS with 10 to 15+ years of territory sales experience in healthcare sector, preferably EHR, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quota. Quick turn-around time is expected, so the ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and ability to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Ability to diagnose existing problems, propose solutions, evaluate options available, experience to put together proposals for new and established Clients is required. Knowledge/experience in the medical software industry is preferred. Travel will be required for this role.
