Provide strategy development and solution development to support new business activities and existing relationships for The Agency Inside Harte-Hanks. Play an active role in the strategic planning needs of the agency and its internal and external customers.

1. New Business
a. Participate in new business opportunities with Account Leaders and Harte-Hanks sales personnel
b. Qualify the Opportunity
i. Assess client need
ii. Determine appropriateness for the assignment
c. Develop the Strategy
i. Define and scope out recommended solution
ii. Determine the pitch approach
d. Prepare Proposal
i. Secure input from service areas included in the recommended solution (strategy, tactics, creative, media, database, pricing, timing)
ii. Prepare proposal/presentation with Seller input
iii. Deliver proposal/presentation with Seller and other team members
iv. Prepare/present Statement of Work (SOW)
e. Secure the Win
i. Initiate contract
ii. Negotiate SOW and contract
f. Project Initiation
i. Transition project to account team
g. Internal Reporting
i. Report status weekly and/or when major occurrence

2. Existing Business
a. Collaborate with sellers, strategy teams and account teams
b. Actively seek out and suggest strategies for current client programs
c. Respond to requests for strategy support

3. Strategic Planning
a. Participate in strategy development for proposals and RFPs
b. Participate in commissioned strategy engagements
i. Design project and project team
ii. Perform discovery
iii. Develop plan
iv. Present plan
c. Participate in strategy development for the Agency
4. Strategic Consulting
a. Participate in developing approach and creating content for proposals and RFPs
b. Lead and manage commissioned strategic consulting engagements
i. Design project and project team
ii. Perform discovery
iii. Develop plan
iv. Present plan

5. Conferences, Meetings and Trade Shows
a. Develop and deliver presentations publicly as requested (Customer Forum, DMA, Lunch-n-Learns, etc.)

6. Goals and Expectations
a. Achieve revenue and OI goals as stated in the unit plan
