We are currently searching for a Vehicle Barrier, Project Manager - Junior to Mid career level, in the Washington, DC Metro area to support worldwide Vehicle Barrier projects.

Must have a minimum of a Secret Level clearance to upgrade to Top Secret, or hold a current Top Secret clearance. Requirements include US Citizenship to be subject to a DoD security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

You will manage and direct build projects and supervise junior level personnel; and will travel to overseas locations to manage and conduct site surveys for vehicle barrier replacement projects.

Must have the ability to facilitate and brief customers by using PowerPoint software.

Develop project schedules; develop requirements and assist in the generation of design packages.

Provide insight on up and coming technologies that apply to electronic security systems.

Ensure overall success of project activities in-line with the program mission.

Develop and implement best practices in project management including but not limited to control and acquisition management.

Improve the installation teams productivity and quality.

Track project issues and action items to closure.

Establish meeting agendas, facilitate meetings and document meeting minutes.

Develop preventive and corrective action plans.

Report project status and performance metrics to executive management.

Required Skills
  • Experience with installing, repairing and maintaining vehicle barrier systems
  • Familiarity with general construction
  • Experience with electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Hands on experience with security systems, surveys, feasibility studies, and infrastructure
  • Project Management
Required Experience Minimum of a bachelor's degree in technical field Or equivalent work experience

Knowledge with development and interpretation of design packages
  • Understanding of PMBOK methodologies
  • Work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
