As a member of our On-Site Marketing team, you will play a critical role in delivering on revenue and business priorities by creating and managing execution of strategy on the small business areas of our website. You will work with highly-skilled designers, writers, SEO experts, marketing operations specialists, and developers to create compelling, effective, and innovative online experiences that result in user satisfaction and conversion. This role will have specific responsibility for: • Owning all aspects of banner ad placement on the Merchant Services component of the PayPal website (i.e., the “Business” tab). • Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to determine the relative priority and placement of various ads. • Understanding reporting requirements and work with analytics team to develop regular reporting on the performance and trends of the Merchant Website. Provide regular traffic reporting on KPI including traffic, sales and conversion. • Developing a calendar of planned ad placements that can be used to communicate to management and plan for future ad campaigns. • Determining need and identifying locations for new ad placement areas. Work with development/engineering to implement any new placements. • Ensuring that ads appearing on the site adhere to branding standards and quality levels. • Partnering with marketing teams to understand their business goals, prioritize projects based on overall goals, communicate this prioritization clearly to all stakeholders and deliver on expectations. • Working with marketers to manage the production of online content and experiences from product concept through to completion. • Project managing key campaign prioritization processes and operational processes within the team

It is also essential that they have exceptional interpersonal skills, initiative, and integrity. • The candidate has excelled in roles that significantly shaped the online experience and drove both customer and revenue growth - such as Campaign Manager, Project Manager, Producer, Product Marketing Manager, or User Experience Manager. • A clear track record of leading growth (i.e., increased conversion rates) online, preferably for a company selling technology-related services directly to small businesses. • Very strong problem-solving, project management and analytical orientation with the ability to innovate and analyze alternative solutions. • Solid understanding of Web site design, UI design principles, and information architecture; solid understanding of workflow, business intelligence tools, spreadsheets, web analytics, and web marketing (e.g., SEO, social, affiliate) • Proven record of working effectively in a changing environment, with the ability to change direction based on contingencies or environmental changes while staying true to the business strategy. • Comfortable working with marketing operations and technical issues. • Communicates clearly, outlining problems, targets, results and key insights, using Microsoft office tools • Operates independently and efficiently with a clear attention to detail • Influences effectively and builds strong relationships • Comfortable with ambiguity • Demonstrated ability and passion to excel within an environment of change, start-up mentality and a drive for continuous improvement • Self-motivating, tenacious and balanced individual who brings ‘can do’ motivation to work every day
