Vibration Technician – Manufacturing

What you need:

Have a working knowledge of vibration and acoustic instrumentation including accelerometers, microphones, charge amplifiers, signal conditioners, force sensors, oscilloscopes, TRMS voltmeters, and low/high pass filters.

Familiarity with digital vibration control systems preferably Spectral Dynamics VCSs.

Strong math background and training in vibration theory is desired.

An understanding of electrodynamic shakers and solid state power amplifiers is preferred.

MS Office skills especially EXCEL and WORD are required.

Training in MATLAB, AUTOCAD and any additional training in fixture design, IDEAS Test or modal analysis is certainly a plus.

Physical labor and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Mechanical abilities and familiarity with hand tools.

Must enjoy working in a process controlled environment. Capable of executing to technical process specifications, procedures, and standards

General understanding of calibrated equipment is preferred

Existing security clearance a plus

Self starter who can work independently, and / or with minimal supervision

Solid communication skills are required

Flexibility with work schedule including some weekend and / or shift work

Will be required to get company certifications to operate a fork lift, overhead crane, ESD, Fall Protection, Cleanroom, LOTO

High School and 10 or more years or two-year technical degree with 6 or more years experience.
