HOERBIGER Corporation of America, Inc., is seeking an
experienced Vice President of Manufacturing to be
responsible for achieving all monthly production goals
while maintaining strict compliance with product quality
standards to ISO 9001. This Leadership role is
responsible for continuous process improvement of the
manufacturing operations including the reduction of lead
times to support internal, OEM and Service business
customer expectations. Focuses on strategic allocation
of resources to attain goals. Assures proper and timely
reporting of all production-related issues, potential
problems, statistical results and progress, as well as
potential resolutions. This position will be based at
our Pompano Beach, FL Manufacturing Location.
This position manages four or more subordinate
Department Managers or Supervisors who in turn will
supervise 200+ employees at two manufacturing sites,
Pompano Beach and Houston. Responsible for the overall

Education and/or Experience: Master's degree (M.S. or
M.B.A) or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or
alternatively Industrial Operations or Engineering, or
equivalent. Five to ten years related plant management
experience and/or training in a non-union U.S.-based
manufacturing facility; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems
and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization may exist.
Computer Skills: Prior experience in SAP ERP software;
Solid Microsoft Office Suite & Lotus Notes
Other Skills and Abilities: Extensive experience in
state of the art CAD-CAM systems, including CNC
Programing, Machining and Injection Molding operations.
Educated and trained in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing
and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
