Phoenix Marketing International is seeking to fill a Vice President, Business Development position within our Converged Technology and Media Team. This is a full-time sales position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have established sales/account relationship with technology and telecommunications firms.
Relocation is not required for this position. The successful candidate will work either from a Phoenix office or from his or her home office.
The Vice President will :
Be responsible for generating new market research business opportunities within the Technology and Telecommunications sectors. Aggressively identify, develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to achieve target revenue goals Increase revenue by developing a sales pipeline from cold calling, prospecting within existing customers and outbound marketing programs Coordinate sales activity with research managers and other professional staff Develop, maintain and leverage strong relationships with all levels of decision makers and influencers to open doors and drive business Present to all levels; from key decision makers to entry-level Know and demonstrate current technology and telecommunications intelligence and trends Have a solid understanding of market research to support solution-based sales approach and be consultative to our clients and prospects
A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in market research sales within the technology/telecommunications sectors. Proven ability execute long term sales strategy Understanding of sampling, design, project management and reporting in order to prepare and submit proposals. Proven sales track record; selling custom market research solutions. Exemplary client service skills, with the ability to maintain and extend current client relationships while developing new connections Strong organizational and project management skills Bachelor’s Degree or higher
