Job Summary:

We provide community-based services for children, young people, adults and families in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Connecticut, as well as parts of Russia and Moldova. Our services include the areas of intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health, early intervention, and children and family services.

This position is a key member of the executive team who has overall responsibility for achieving our strategic objectives related to private fundraising and donor development, including identifying, cultivating, asking, closing and stewarding major gifts from individuals, as well as funding from foundations and corporations. The successful Vice President of Development will be a highly motivated and accomplished professional who will drive growth in our financial support through major gifts, planned and annual giving, and special events. This person will help to shape our development strategy and will oversee the planning and execution of all development activities.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will be an energetic and knowledgeable individual who is committed to the mission of Keystone Human Services, and is capable of leading a comprehensive fundraising program with a high degree of professionalism, sensitivity and integrity. We require a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least six years' increasingly significant experience in cultivating donors, managing fundraising and closing gifts, particularly in the area of major and planned giving. In addition, excellent management, organization, planning, influencing and communication skills will be required for success.
