The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will develop and execute the company's national growth strategies with new and existing customers. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will help BPC remain competitive and grow while upholding the mission, vision and principles of the company. Determines and executes sales and marketing strategies for existing and future products. Develops and articulates a sales and marketing vision and rallies the sale, marketing and sales operations/support team around that vision. Grow sales and profitability by prioritizing and capturing significant new national customers, while growing revenues with existing customers. Develop metrically driven sales priorities and tracking within the company's existing network and operations. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will lead the development of market and sales forecasts to assess profitability of existing products and pipeline products to ensure value to company. Oversees reimbursement and government contracts activities as it relates to national sales accounts and government relationships. Guides the continued commercialization of existing products and the commercial development of pipeline products, input on clinical development, strategic market launch plans, marketing/sales plans and support senior management decisions through market overviews, presentations and forecasts. Determines product positioning, pricing, distribution, and targeting of all existing and pipeline products. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing directs the Immunotherapy sales force management to provide/develop call plans, sales training, sales support tools/programs and marketing, customer operations and advertising/promotional elements. Develops quantifiable value propositions to customers based on their individual needs and works to enhance and deliver meaningful services to customers. Maintains alertness to potential new business and/or product opportunities through literature review, monitoring industry communication and activities, competitive intelligence network, etc. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing collaborates with Executive Committee members and key senior leadership of Biotest AG providing stewardship for overall company success. Ensures all functional areas of the company follow company policies and procedures for all activities developed and implemented by Sales and Marketing personnel. May be tasked with other projects and assignments as needed.
A Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Relevant graduate degree preferred.At least fifteen years of senior leadership experience in strategic pharmaceutical sales and marketing, sales management, market research and product management. Successful track record of building and growing sales and profitability, closing sales and satisfying customers. Prior experience with immunoglobulin's, blood products and/or or related areas highly desirable. Background in managing geographically dispersed sales teams and corporate teams. Prior experience developing, building and maintaining relationships with distributors and wholesalers. Demonstrated strength in leading a sales and marketing function. Strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking. Strong organizational skills with ability to lead and provide direction. Strong financial management with good business acumen and judgment. Creative problem-solving abilities and strategic vision. Knowledge of FDA regulations governing clinical development, advertising and promotion for the pre launch, launch and post launch phases. Strategic acumen to identify and plan for the capabilities and talent needed to support the Company's aggressive growth plan. PC literate with intermediate proficiency in office application software and customer resource management programs.
