The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at University of the Sciences has an immediate opening for a Visiting Assistant Professor to participate in the instruction of undergraduate and graduate biochemistry and molecular biology/genetics. Candidates must have a Ph.D.; additional research experience complementary to interests of our biochemistry faculty is preferred. The position begins as soon as practical and continues through the end of the academic year, with a 10-month continuation contract possible for the 2013/14 academic year, pending successful performance review.

The Department offers graduate programs (MS and Ph.D.) in chemistry, biochemistry, bioinformatics and pharmacognosy to ~60 students and undergraduate programs in chemistry, biochemistry, and pharmaceutical chemistry to ~100 students.
