The Research S pecialist will work on research that focuses on the role of molecular motors in regulating transcription, chromatin remodeling and other nuclear processes.
Candidates should be skillful in basic cell and molecular biology techniques like sterile technique, growing mammalian cells in culture, light microscopy, western blots, DNA and RNA isolation and/or
PCR. Candidate will be trained in general laboratory management. Skills in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook), and strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language are essential.
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in health, biology, biochemistry or biomedical related field and at least one year’s experience in a scientific laboratory or a combination of other educational and research laboratory experience judged to be equivalent.
