The Community Outreach Intervention Projects is seeking a Full-Time Visiting Research Specialist to work at their storefront offices and coordinate with the Assistant Director of
Operations to develop a CM Quality Management Plan (QMP) that codifies the
management and operational policies and procedures to ensure work processes,
products, or services satisfy expectations and quality standards of the Northeastern
Illinois HIV/AIDS Case Management Cooperative .

The Visiting Research Specialist will also be expected to provide strategic leadership in the areas of program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation . As part of their evaluation activities, the Research Specialist will identify performance measures and determine benchmarks that will aid in improving the access to & the quality of care for HIV+ individuals in the Chicago EMA by improving selected performance measures & clinical outcomes.

- Provide strategic program oversight

- Assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of programmatic activities as they relate to service data collection needs

- Develop, implement and monitor a CM Quality Management Plan

- Develop training material and facilitate trainings in areas that will improve selected performance measures

- Travel to 5 field stations located in low scioecominic areas of Chicago is required

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree; Masters Degree preferred in Socia/Human Services; Must be cerrtified as a Medical and DRS-HSP Case Manager by the Northeastern Illinois HIV/AIDS Case Management Cooperative; 5 years progressively responsible experience in a not-for-profit human service organization; Must possess strong oral and written communications skills and ability to communicate with and work with culturally, racially and ethnically diverse populations; Experience, education, or training involving planning, developing, or administering quality assurance programs; Verifiable ability to supervise and train employees; Strong development and management skills; Ability to handle a large volume of work within prescribed time frame to achieve goals that are aligned with the agency’s mission; Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel and Visio)
