Must hold a Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field of study and be a Qualified Professional. Prefer candidate who is Licensed or Licensed-eligible, with some training in substance abuse services, and has minimum 2 years’ experience with severely and persistently mentally ill population. Most hold a valid NC driver license. Candidate must possess excellent communication and written skills.
Function as a practicing vocational specialist and team member. Conduct clinical assessments; Provide structured face-to-face individual and group therapeutic interventions to provide support and guidance in all areas of functional domains: adaptive, communication, personal care, domestic, psychosocial, problem solving, etc. in preventing, overcoming, or managing the recipient's level of functioning and enhancing his/her ability to remain in the community. Participate in daily staff meetings. Prepare and submit all documentation accurately and on time. Ensure incident reports are prepared and submitted on time. Prepare and present documentation for person centered plans and authorization requests. Will be responsible for rotated on call crisis interventions to individuals. Complete required training within prescribed timeframes. Make every effort to meet critical standards contained in the most current edition of the National Program Standards for ACT Teams as established by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill or US Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Mental Health Services. Successfully participate in the DMH approved ACTT training. Other duties as assigned.
