Ke`aki Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Windows Systems Administrator / Information Assurance Technician in the Information Services Office (ISO). The position will be located at the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) and is a subordinate element of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC). The position requires a NACLAC background check and U.S. Citizenship.
Candidate will assist senior staff in system engineering support for in a Microsoft server environment supporting such servers as: Domain Controller, Team Foundation Server, MS-SQL Database, SharePoint, Network Area Server, Virtual Machine Server (Hyper-V and ESX/VMware), SMTP Server, and FTP Server.
Activities include, but are not limited to:
Upgrade the Team Foundation System Environment
Upgrade Installation Services and Software Tools Migration
Upgrade and Maintenance of System Hardware & Software Products
Maintain the Team Foundation Build Processes
Manage Security for Role Security, Project Security and Server Security
Manage Team Foundation Server Backup and Recovery Processes
Manage Team Foundation Software Version Control Processes
Manage Windows SharePoint Team Portal
Create Custom Software Development Tools
Administer and Customize Work Items
Administer Systems and Networks.
Obtain and load CDE of AHLTA source code from DHIMS contractor.
Update and ensure CDE servers are DIACAP compliant.
Create and optimize virtual machines utilizing Hyper-V and ESX/VMware
Knowledge and demonstrated project planning/management experience
Provide system documentation configuration tracking all software products purchased IAW industry standards for configuration management.
The Contractor shall provide planning and technical support to SAN, NAS and other storage devices.
The Contractor shall provide planning and technical support to virtual machine (VM) servers and user accounts. Establishing VM templates for commonly associated virtual machines.
The Contractor shall provide VM user configuration support, assisting users with VM software loads and performance issues.
The Contractor shall provide Information Assurance configuration and documentation support IAW DIACAP, ensuring systems are DIACAP compliant.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Management, a related field or documented relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
Required Certificates: CompTIA A+, Network +, Security + Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).
Knowledge and Experience:
Seven (7) years or more experiences in System Architecture Design, Server Administration, Configuration Management, and Database Design and Management.
Seven (7) years or more experience in system maintenance, test, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge and experience setting up and maintaining SAN, NAS and other storage devices.
System Virtualization and Configuration Management: VMWare, Virtual PC, Microsoft System Virtual Machine Manager 2007, Microsoft Configuration Manager 2007, Raritan, and Cisco VPN.
Network Protocols: TCP/IP, FTP, TFTP, TELNET, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, DDNS, RIP, IPS/SPX.
Knowledge of the setup and administration of Microsoft’s Hyper-V and VMware’s ESX/V-Sphere Virtualization products.
Knowledge of project planning/management. Individually must be able to plan work and work the plan with general technical guidance from senior personnel.
Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written.
