Seeking an individual to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in producing plastic blowmolded components.
Some duties include studying production schedules, verifying set-up of machines, interpreting company policies and enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining time and production records.
Ideal candidate will have 4 years of operations management experience as either a department manager, plant superintendent, or other management position including manufcatuinrg and quality responsibilities. A minimum of 2 years "on the floor" experience supervisor hourly associates.
The hours for this position are 7am-7pm rotating which does involve working every other Friday-Sunday.
Thermoplastic processing experience in one of the following: blowmolding, injection molding, injection-blow, extrusion, vacuum forming, or polymer compounding operations. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and the ability to learn Power Point and Project applications. Ideal Candidate will have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential
We require a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, physics, mathemetics, chemisty, applied science or materials science. Also Lean Manufacturing knowledge and application.
