US Remodelers, a The Home Depot company, is responsible for the Sales and Manufacturing of premium Kitchen and Bath remodeling products offered in over 45 major markets. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for facilitating the job flow process from the arrival of materials in the warehouse to loading the materials into the contractor's vehicle. The incumbent may also do minor service repairs and installations.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Schedules installations and services by contacting the customer and scheduling in the book.
Assists the Administrative Coordinator in filing, scanning and preparing folders.
Unloads delivery trucks upon arrival at the branch warehouse. Stages materials for each job according to installation date.
Checks on job deliveries and stock deliveries (via computer/Bill of ladings). Completes damage claims for shipping, follow-up with factories and shippers on expected deliveries.
Takes calls from installers and order JIP parts as well as other stock inventory.
General warehouse maintenance and safety. Will also deliver materials to customer's home and load materials into installer's vehicle.
Makes occasional service calls for repairs and installations. Will also complete measures as needed.
Participates in quarterly inventory.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Minimum Age: 18
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE -1
Must have a valid drivers license with access to transportation and required insurance.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
- Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and arms to handle and maneuver hand tools and cabinet pieces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
- Must have access to transportation in order to travel to each job site.
- Experience in installation of remodeling and home improvement products would be preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret drawings and job orders.
