Position Description:

Pease Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager for water supply, wastewater treatment and collections and other Civil/Environmental engineering projects. Project Manager will work closely with a Principal Engineer and will manage all project responsibilities of multi-discipline teams. The projects are challenging and provide unique design and project management opportunities.

As a Project Manager the Engineer will be directly responsible for planning, scheduling, developing, coordinating, directing, and managing large and small design and master planning projects with many complex features. Most of the projects will be public facilities which may include water distribution, treatment, storage and pumping systems; wastewater collection, treatment and pumping facilities; biosolids management facilities and storm drainage, sedimentation and erosion control systems. Engineer will prepare various types of related reports and studies; be responsible for developing and evaluating plans and criteria for a variety of projects; as well as planning and coordinating activities to be carried out by others including in-house engineers, designers, surveyors and outside specialty consultants. Additionally, engineer will be expected to contribute to marketing of the firm and development of new business by initiating and maintaining contacts with current clients and key individuals of other organizations and companies.

Position Requirements:

B.S. Civil or Environmental Engineering, Registered Engineer with 5-10 years experience, including municipal engineering or closely related projects. Knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD preferred. Team player who is enthusiastic about all aspects of engineering and project management and can lead projects from planning and preliminary engineering through design and construction. Must have good communications skills, be a team player and be able to relate well to project team and clients.
