A hard-working, multi-talented web developer with an eye for design, detail and presentation who can translate concepts and specifications into usable and efficient line of business applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned

Web Application Development
Provide technical expertise during development process including requirements gathering, functional specification, integration analysis, testing and deployment
Write clean, well-formed HTML and ASP.NET code
Produce modular and reusable CSS
Design, code, test, debug and document applications and changes according to requirements
Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions
Train cross-functional users and team members to use and support web applications
Coordinate application revisions and upgrades with team and other departments
Provide technical support by responding to help desk tickets
Thoroughly analyze previously written code
Coordinate backup, recovery, scalability and availability requirements
Fully comprehend the front and back end components involved in client/server and web architectures
Understand browser compatibility issues and implement resolutions
Recognize the benefits of development methodologies and OOP
Monitor server and application statistics to help attain optimal performance
Work with team to optimize the infrastructure and architecture related to all web-based systems
Project Management
Develop project plans, coordinate resources, communicate progress and work within budgeted time
Create and maintain long term charts of all web system projects
Review work of team members
Consistently deliver high-quality services for the company
Coordinate database design, development and implementation with database team
Possess demonstrated work experience with relational database management systems

B. A. or B.S. from four-year college or university; or equivalent and relevant work-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
4+ years of professional experience in HTML, CSS, XML and ASP.NET
4+ years of professional experience in JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
Ability to construct advanced user interfaces with JavaScript
Ability to integrate web applications with current and emerging social media platforms
Adept at balancing fresh user-centered designs with taking art direction and using agency designs
Skilled at using web services based on SOAP, XML and JSON
Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server databases
Expertise in Microsoft development environments: Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010
Skillful with design applications such as Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and InDesign
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Possess equal parts of attention to detail and style, humble attitude and hunger for a challenge

Other Skills and Abilities:
Experience with mobile application development (web, iOS, Android)
Proficiency in at least three of the following tools and techniques: CMS, SEO, Google Analytics, IA, Usability Engineering, HCI, Reporting (SSRS, Crystal)
Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: Project Management, Network Security, Network Administration
MCAD for MS .NET or MCSD is beneficial but not required.
Focused understanding of graphic design concepts and the ability to put them to good use
Supervisory Responsibilities

Fulfills supervisory responsibilities that may be related to project management; Mentors those with less experience; Facilitates effective team interaction

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or Equivalent and Relevant work related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must have 5+ years in IT of software development experience.
