This position requires that one be able to fabricate and weld parts as needed.

Skill Level
  • Mastered all required skills for the job positions
  • Be able to set-up and run all cutting, forming, and welding equip. avail. in shop.
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Must be able to do layout work

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
