The West Coast E-Discovery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Client Services team, providing leadership and support for account management including consultative guidance, escalating high-priority issues, and providing cross-functional support to the Sales team, continually focusing on ways to increase efficiencies and enhance workflows in order to maximize productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external clients to provide oversight, direction, and leadership.
  • Design, refine, and implement processes to minimize crises and mistakes, including development of standard reporting procedures and establishment of best practices.
  • Act as escalation point for crisis management within the Client Services team.
  • Analyze existing processes and procedures and identify areas of improvement and areas requiring standardization in order to improve project management services and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Continually evaluate client needs and requirements to determine resource allocation.
  • Grow the Client Services team by participating in the interviewing, on boarding, and training process.
  • Act as a liaison to the Sales team, working together to increase efficiencies.
  • Coordinate customized workflows among all internal resources to meet unique client requirements.
  • Provide training to the Client Services team, familiarizing them with new activities and requirements as well as continuing education.
  • Participate in and oversee performance feedback of the Client Services team.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 8 years of experience litigation support at a litigation support vendor, law firm, or corporate law department
  • Extensive knowledge of the E-Discovery industry, including an understanding of the most commonly-used technology tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and logical skills
  • Effective written and oral communications
  • Thorough knowledge of project management and information management methodology
  • Positive and professional relationships at all levels
  • Ability to manage external clients and internal personnel
  • Some travel required
  • BA or BS degree required
