Assist the Director in the creation, promotion and delivery of career-related services and programs to students and alumni, including class presentations, residence hall presentations, career panels, assessments, and networking programs.

Provide individual career planning and job search counseling to students and alumni, including resume/cover letter reviews and mock interviews.

Present various workshops on career development.

Assist the Director with the coordination and implementation of employer outreach and programming initiatives, including 1 Spring Career Fair and 1 Career Retreat Event.

Assist the Director to develop strategic alliances with alumni and employers designed to provide opportunities for graduates to secure employment.

Assist with the administration of web-based services and resources, including Wheelock Works, an online job posting system for undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni.

Assist in the supervision of, two student staff, working 5-7 hours per week in the office.

Collaborate with other offices, including: Academic Advising, Academic Assistance, Student Life, Alumni Relations, and various faculty as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree is required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects.
Strong technology skills, including MS Word and MS Excel. Ability to use Publisher.
Strong public speaking and the ability to deliver career planning presentations
A background in career services is helpful.

Compensation: $12.00 an hour, 15 hours a week.
