The Team:
The Alcatel-Lucent Wireless Business Division is one of the world's leading suppliers of wireless communications solutions. The Light Radio RF development organization is part of the Wireless Business Organization within Alcatel-Lucent. This organization develops RF radio products for use in the LTE RF product family. Work is fast paced and cutting edge in 4G LTE.

The Position:
Radio Verification Testing involves focused effort on verifying and validating the 4G LTE Radio Frequency Module (RFM) product Software. RFM’s tested are designed internally within Alcatel-Lucent’s Wireless organizations. Others are supplied by external vendors. Responsibilities for this position will include some test planning, an ability to read and understand the requirements associated with the LTE RF radios under test and working closely with software and hardware teams to successfully deliver integrated RFM’s to our customers.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:
Willingness to work hands on in lab environment

Should be comfortable using test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, Power meters, Signal Generators and in house proprietary software tools

Must be able to work with others in a group setting

Desired Skills:
Experience using a programming or scripting language

Aptitude for Problem Solving and a desire to understand the root cause of issues

Strong written and verbal skills – Candidate should be comfortable making and delivering technical presentations to a variety of audiences

Experience with Linux

Required Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college/university

Must have at least a 3.0 GPA

Able to work from the Murray Hill, NJ office
