This position will provide the data support needed for report generation and data analysis. Specifically the incumbent is responsible for extracting appropriate HR data from our data warehouse (InfoSource), compiling and presenting data in user-friendly reports, and generating statistical analyses in support of the office mission including the preparation of mandated Affirmative Action Plans. The position is also responsible for maintaining and developing local MS Access applications, maintaining and updating the EDI website, providing some user-level technical support and serves as a liaison to Information Technology Services (ITS) and other University departments in relation to information technology. The incumbent also identifies external sources of data and information to support the department's compliance, education and outreach responsibilities.
Minimum three years professional experience, including database management and preparation of complex reports & statistical analyses. Candidate must be proficient with MS Access including form-driven applications.
Minimum education level of Bachelor's degree.
Knowledge and experience with Affirmative Action Plan reporting and relevant software highly preferred.
Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) scripting as it relates to MS Access events preferred.
Knowledge and experience with SPSS and multiple regression analysis preferred.
Knowledge of classification & salary structures and familiarity with the underlying data structure of HR systems preferred.
Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Statistics or related field preferred.
